I was sitting in my history class yesterday, listening to my possibly gay teacher go on and on about the puritans of the 1600s in America. First, you need to understand my teacher. He knows his history, no doubt about it. He is very intelligent when it comes to history; however, like many other intelligent people, he is lacking in many other areas. For instance, he cracks lame jokes all the time. Nobody laughs; he gets offended. Same process over and over again, it's like a perpetual cycle of misery. For example, he was showing us these comic strips he had salvaged from various newspapers. He thought they were hilarious; yet, nobody laughed at them. These sub par results left him flabbergasted.
"Don't you guys think this is funny?! I just don't understand. Ease up. Laugh a little."
Anyways, the point of all this is to address old age and perversion. When it comes to the male sex, the two seem to coincide. This happens to baffle me. I was half listening to my teachers lecture on the puritans as he was talking about adultery. He showed us a drawing of a puritan man going up a woman's shirt. He made the remark, "He's rounding 2nd base, the puritans killed you for that." As an afterthought he added, "I guess thats what base he's on. I don't know; I haven't ran the bases in a long time." This remark isn't too bad. However, it is perverted; and, it got me thinking.
Is perversion an acquired trait for old men? If so, how do they develop this trait. Maybe, its simpler than that. Males are notoriously grosser than females. Perhaps, after a certain age, men just don't care if everyone knows they're perverted or not. Maybe, older men just don't understand how what they say affects other people. Whatever it is, it is surely intriguing. I just wanted you to give the idea thought.
That is all.
